Contract Works
Contract works cover is a type of insurance that provides coverage for physical loss or damage to the works you are undertaking for a client during its period of construction. At the point of completion and handover to your client you will no longer be responsible and the cover will end. The policy does not provide cover for existing structures.
Hired in Plant
Hired in Plant insurance is a type of insurance policy that provides coverage for construction equipment, machinery, and tools that a company has hired or rented from a third party. This type of insurance is designed to protect the contractor or construction company from financial losses if the hired-in equipment is damaged, stolen, or lost.
It is worth noting that the responsibility for insuring the hired-in equipment may be with either the hiring or the renting party, depending on the terms of the contract between the parties.
Each policy may have different terms and conditions, exclusions, and limits, depending on the specific needs and risks of your company and the work you are undertaking. We recommend that you speak to one of our experienced advisers to make sure that you have the correct cover in place.

Own Plant
Own Plant insurance is designed to protect your plant and machinery from damage, loss, or theft while they are being used on construction sites, in transit to and from job sites or while stored at your premises.
